Cancellation Policy

  1. Any request for cancellation or transfer must be sent to learning@epa.nsw.gov.au to ensure there is a written record. If you do not get a response within 48 hours, please call (02) 9995 6526. Verbal cancellations or written cancellations sent to another email address will not be accepted and are not valid.

  2. EPA Training Unit will provide a full refund less 10% administration fee for cancellation of courses where adequate notice of no less than 14 business days is provided in writing.

  3. Cancellations with less than 7 business days notice will be at full cost.

  4. No transfers or refunds are permitted within 7 business days of course commencement date; however, the provision of a substitute attendee is permitted.

  5. Non-attendance is deemed as cancellation without notice and payment in full is due.

  6. The EPA Training Unit reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course at any time.

  7. For Diploma and Certificate IV courses:

    1. Cancellations made in writing more than 4 weeks prior to course date will receive a full refund of course fees.

    2. Cancellations made in writing between 2 and 4 weeks prior to start time of course will incur 50% of the course fees.

    3. Cancellations made in writing less than 2 weeks from course start date will incur 100% of course fee.

  1. For EPA Staff:

    1. Due to the costs and resources involved there will be a fee applied should you not have a substitute.

    2. No penalty for cancellations made in writing 7 or more days prior to course date.

    3. Cancellations made 3 – 7 business days prior to start time of course will incur $150 per person per day

    4. Cancellations made less than 3 business days prior to start time OR non-attendance without notice will result in a fee of $250 per person per day
